The legendary Swedish band Opeth is set to perform their European tour promoting the new album.
“The Last Will And Testament,” has been acclaimed worldwide as more than just music, but an experience wrapped in a story.

Album Inspiration
“The Last Will And Testament” is heavily inspired by the series “Succession,” narrating the story of a family battling over the inheritance of a recently deceased patriarch.
The tracks are titled with the symbol “§,” representing “paragraph,” to reflect the reading of the will and the unveiling of family secrets.
Rich Musical Influences
The new material offers a mix of fierce riffs, orchestral elements with oriental influences, and surprising instrumental moments.
From harpsichord passages to a groovy flute solo, the album creates a cinematic atmosphere, marking one of the band’s most ambitious projects.
Additionally, this is the first album featuring the new drummer, Finnish Waltteri Väyrynen, who significantly contributes to the energy of the tracks that will be heard this autumn in countries like Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Italy, and Luxembourg.
